The following is a list of West Michigan therapy providers who are collaborating with Family Hope Foundation to provide therapy to our scholarship recipients. Each provider meets our Provider Guidelines and signs a Community Partnership Agreement with Family Hope Foundation for delivery of service to our families.

1 Plus 1 Therapy LLC

Type of Therapy(ies) Provided: 1 Plus 1 is focused on the philosophy of intensive physical therapy vs. traditional PT methods. Our intensive treatment plans are centered around 1-3 hours of PT for 3-4 weeks and achieving specific short term goals in order to reach the long term goals. The "spider cage" and therasuit are innovative therapy tools offered at 1 Plus 1, which have showed tremendous success in treating CP, spina-bifida and many other diagnosis.

Type of Therapy Provided: Assessment and intervention for children with speech production, language, literacy and social communication disorders. Ms. Van Meter has vast clinical and research experience in the areas of language development, dyslexia, dysgraphia and autism, as well as advanced training in the DIR Floortime Approach.

Comprehensive Therapy Center

Brief descriptor/important information: A dynamic learning system that maximizes the independence and mobility of children with cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and other neuro-motor disorders. Applications for new and returning students are on the website. Easter Seals - West Michigan Therapy Center

Type of Therapy(ies) Provided: Easter Seals provides a variety of early intervention therapeutic services for children with autism, speech and language delays, emotional, motor and social skill issues as well as sensory integration therapies. Family Tree Therapies

Generation Care

Type of Therapy(ies) Provided: Generation Care offers intensive but fun, family/ child centered, evidenced –based physical, occupational, and speech-language pathology services for a wide spectrum of genetic, acquired, and development diagnosis. Our OTR is certified in Therapeutic Listening and is highly skilled in sensory processing and integration strategies as well as fine motor skills such as handwriting. Our SLP has specialized training in stuttering as well as feeding disorders. The PT team focuses on core strength, gait, balance, posture, and mobility strategies. Hope Network - The Center for Autism

Type of Therapy(ies) Provided: The Center for Autism is a multi-disciplinary outpatient treatment program serving children and adults with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and other learning disabilities. We provide early intervention and treatment, education and support for families of those affected by these conditions. Our services include the following: Applied Behavior Analysis(ABA), neuropsychology, psychology, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and psychiatry. We also offer social skills groups for adolescents through young adult age to help them become more confident and proficient in their interactions with the world around them. These groups offer participants the opportunity to make new friends and experience activities that they might not have done before, in a welcoming, supportive setting.
