I vividly remember thinking, “I want to do this for the rest of my life”.
It’s wonderful to meet you!
I’m Madeline Puckett, Family Hope Foundation’s new Program Coordinator. I’m a Hope College alumni with a BA in communications—I had a dream of working with nonprofit organizations—and here I am today introducing myself to you, friend!
Growing up, I knew I wanted to spend my life helping others. In high school, I got involved in a nationwide fundraiser called Dance Marathon.
This carried forward into college where I served as the Director of Community Relations for Dance Marathon. It completely changed my life—nonprofit work is where I found my home.
I completely submerged myself in the program and continued my career with Dance Marathon and Children’s Miracle Network.
I filled my days fundraising, connecting with the community, and dancing. I dedicated myself to making sure children at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital had what they needed to have a happy and healthy childhood.
I vividly remember thinking, “I want to do this for the rest of my life.”
And here I am today—ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work! Family Hope Foundation is giving me the opportunity to do what I love most—helping children and families.
I am beyond excited to join Family Hope Foundation’s community and work together to make this world a better place.
p.s. Madeline is a natural fit for Family Hope Foundation. She’s full of passion for our mission and has the skills and energy to make us stronger. We’ve expanded the scope of the Program Coordinator, to match our strategic plan. I’m excited to watch Madeline grow right alongside our organization! Welcome to the team, Madeline!

There are times when the saying “Ignorance is bliss” can work to your advantage. When a group of 18 founding board members were given the vision of building a nonprofit that would provide the disability community with hope and crucial support, we were all in! We quickly realized that building a nonprofit from the ground […]
